Drop in to our practical volunteer sessions at Fermyn Woods Country Park on the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th October from 10am.
We will be letting more light in to the ponds to improve conditions for plants and amphibians. We will also be preparing access ways for the digger which is working on site all week to restore some of the ponds.
Please bring gardening gloves if you have some as many tasks will involve using loppers, bow saws and moving vegetation. Areas to be worked on will have uneven ground and may be sloping so please wear sturdy shoes, boots or wellies.
Meet by the cafe at 10am each day, or if arriving later, enquire at the cafe if you can’t find us!
